The senior writer/actor Yandamuri Veerendranath was sharing his thoughts in a TV program and the topic came to director Ramgopal Varma’s book ‘Naa Ishtam’. He said “there is a joke which goes like this - one monkey keeps climbing and getting down a tree daily and public who see this are happy. Eventually, that monkey started charging a ticket of Rs 50 for its show. It also gave a cover to all who came and told them to go home and open it.
