Nagababu was not interested in Genelia to pick up as Heroine beside Ramcharan but Bhasker who shown her as Hasini in 'Bommarillu' has convinced him. But after the first reports received, many said that Genelia has become the minus point for film success. Some of them have said that if another heroine has chosen for the role, film would have rated atleast average. It is heard that Genie has demanded for extra remuneration as 'Orange' shooting delayed by few days. As Nagababu denied to pay the amount, she went to Mumbai and intimated that she is not going to attend the shooting. Nagababu has paid the amount and brought her back. It is said there are lot more things happened like this and made Nagababu fuming with anger.

We had faced several tough schedules and seen exhaustive locales in Australia, but whenever I faced the camera, the director was able to capture the real actress hidden in myself. Bhaskar is my best friend and he knows what kind of character suits me. I am confident that ‘Orange’ is one such movie where the audiences get a heart warming experience of love. Music by Harris added a pinch of salt to the dish and the audio is brilliant. I am very much confident that ‘Orange’ would be the best film in my career.
