Well known producer Dr D Ramanaidu is celebrating his birthday in June 6h. He produced many movies in many languages and become succesfull producer. His first movies as a producer was Ramudu Bheemudu with NTR. He had a thought of remaking Ramudu Bheemudu again. He is trying to keep Jr NTR in that role. Ramanaidu grandson Rana requested him to use him in that movie, but he rejected smoothly and says Jr NTR is the correct person to perform in that movie. The posters for ‘Nagavalli’ are getting ready and recently, one of the film folks recently went to the Ramanaidu studios and had a look at it. They say that the posters are mind blowing and they are of the standards of ‘Arundhati’. The promos and other publicity activity are likely to take off soon and it is heard that the posters alone will cause enough hype and curiosity among the public. As it is, the presence of five beautiful heroines has got them going and the special effects from the posters will add the extra punch to it.

Telugu film actor-producer D. Ramanaidu, credited with making films in several languages, has been chosen for the Dada Saheb Phalke Award for 2009 for his outstanding contribution to Indian cinema, it was announced here Thursday. Ramanaidu, 74, will receive the award at the National Films Awards function scheduled to be held in the capital in October. He will receive a Swarn Kamal, a cash prize of Rs.1 million and a shawl, a statement from the information and broadcasting ministry said.

Chandramukhi sequel muhurtham shot started on April 28 in Ramanaidu Studios.Venkatesh is playing the lead role. It is the remake of kannada hit Aapta Rakshaka. Muhurat shot was filmed on Venkatesh while director Puri Jagannadh sounded the clapboard. V V Vinayak is another guest for the muhurat shot. Produced by Bellamkonda Suresh, the film stars five heroines - Anushka, Kamalinee Mukharjee, Richa Gangapodhyay, Poonam Kaur another heroine who is yet to be selected.
