Most waited movie Kamma Rajyam lo Kadapa Reddlu release got postponed due to censor problems. Movie makers presented this movie to censor board at the last minute and censor board not yet issued censor certificate. RGV connected with high court to accelerate the censor process and court orders to complete the censor process with in a week. It is planned to release one week later. So new release date might be Dec 6th 2019. There is already an on going issue on this film about the title and he already had alternate title for this movie as "Amma Rajyam lo Kadapa Biddalu". If censor create any problem with title, he kept his alternate ready. Controversial director RGV acknowledged to change the title of Kamma Rajyam lo Kadapa Reddlu (KRKR) to " Amma Rajyam lo Kadapa Biddalu ". When RGV began making KRKR movie, lot of controversies got created and many people filed case in court to stop this movie as it offending few prominent people. Be that as it may, RGV couldn't care all these comments and he completed the movie and he announced the release date as November 29th 2019 . Daggubati Rana who is currently shooting for his Hindi movie ‘Department’ is reportedly injured. The incident took place when he was shooting for an action sequence at a steel factory in the Mumbai. It is known news that Ramgopal Varma is coming up with yet another experimental film titled 'Pelli' earlier. Now the latest news is that RGV has confirmed he is doing a film ' Pelli ' and interesting he said that film will be directed by 3 directors. Puri Jagannath, Harish Shankar will be the other directors to direct the film. RGV said, "This movie is about four stories. Each of us will write and direct three episodes. None of the characters in these three stories have any relation with others but their actions will affect the other character in the fourth story."

The senior writer/actor Yandamuri Veerendranath was sharing his thoughts in a TV program and the topic came to director Ramgopal Varma’s book ‘Naa Ishtam’. He said “there is a joke which goes like this - one monkey keeps climbing and getting down a tree daily and public who see this are happy. Eventually, that monkey started charging a ticket of Rs 50 for its show. It also gave a cover to all who came and told them to go home and open it. The public came, watched the show, went home and opened the cover. There was a piece of paper which read ‘you left all your important work and came just to see my antics, how absurd is that?’. ‘Naa Ishtam’ is just like that. The film has faced Censor Hurdles till last week and now it got a clearance certificate from The Censor Board without any cuts. So many of them were doubting on RGV genuineness. It is said that RGV has criticized many celebrities and Bigwigs of Tollywood Industry and Censor Board asked to bring clearance from all of them. It is heard that lining up the list of the directors’ names, the censor board has asked Ramu to get NOC (No Objection Certificate) from all of the directors or delete the song.
