Actress Nayanatara has a unique record as she acted beside Rajnikanth consecutively in 3 films 'Chandramukhi', 'Shivaji' and 'Kathanayakudu'. While doing the films, Nayanatara has good relations with Rajni and they are continuing now also. When Nayan's affair with Shimbu has broken, there are rumors that Shimbu troubled Nayan in many ways. However there was a talk that Hero is waiting for Tamil version result to confirm whether he do it or not. It is heard that there are some other Heroes showing interest on 'Bodyguard' remake in Telugu.

Chandramukhi sequel muhurtham shot started on April 28 in Ramanaidu Studios.Venkatesh is playing the lead role. It is the remake of kannada hit Aapta Rakshaka. Muhurat shot was filmed on Venkatesh while director Puri Jagannadh sounded the clapboard. V V Vinayak is another guest for the muhurat shot. Produced by Bellamkonda Suresh, the film stars five heroines - Anushka, Kamalinee Mukharjee, Richa Gangapodhyay, Poonam Kaur another heroine who is yet to be selected.
