Sunil answered a journalist asking why heroines are not willing to pair up with him, he said, "We cannot blame them. It is obvious that they think twice to pair up with a comedian turned hero. But they should also realize that I'm far better than many heroes those cannot dance at all for songs. And I think I can entertain masses as a comedy hero. My physique is also on par with any action hero now. So, what lacks in me. If they can look at me in this perspective they need not think twice. There is a dancer, comedian and fighter in me".

According Film Nagar gossips Comedy hero Sunil is said to be doing the lead role in one of the Lakshmi Prasanna pictures film and Dr Mohan Babu will be seen in a full-fledged role as a father-in-law to Sunil in the film. Rayudu Gaariki Kopamocchindi is the title of the film. Kona Venkat and Gopi Mohan are penning the script. Manchu Lakshmi Prasanna will look after the production works.
