Chiranjeevi has sold out his major shares from 'MAA TV' to start a new Channel. Now the latest update is that Channel is likely to titled as ' Power News ' which is slated to be a 24 hours news channel mixed with few elements of entertainment. A Formal Announcement about this news is yet to be made. It is heard that Channel could be launched on 22nd August, which happens to be Chiranjeevi Birthday.

It is learnt that Tollywood industry is suffering from drugs and prostitution rackets and the Movie Artists Association (MAA) has warned its members to stay away from the media regarding these issues. MAA asked all its members to not talk anything about the drugs and prostitution rackets and to comment or give bytes to the television channels that are bloating the issue to immeasurable limits. On yesterday one of the news channels announced that the phone numbers revealed by police officials on the name of tollywood artistes are not related to them. So, MAA warned all its members not to talk any thing about these issues.

Now all eyes are turned on to 'Simha' which also bought by MAA channel recently for a huge amount. It is known that MAA channel is going to telecast the film by the end of this year for any festival.
