Nagarjuna Shirdi Sai film Announcement

Nagarjuna as Shirdi Saibaba Yuvasamrat Nagarjuna, who impressed Audience with the roles of Annamacharyulu in 'Annamayya' and Ramadasu in 'Sri Ramadasu'. K.Raghvendra Rao is going to direct Lord Shirdi Sai baba film on a grand scale and 'AMR Real Estate Group' is going to produce the film. A New Writer has penned script for this film and a formal announcment will be made about the film Today i.e., Thursday 5th May.

Mohanbabu angry on Piracy CDs

Actor Mohan Babu on Wednesday lashed out at the Telugu Film Producers’ Council for failing to take measures to control piracy. “Hardly anyone takes interest in the matter. The council is a waste. It is left to individual producers to tackle the menace for their own films,” he told the media on Wednesday. His tirade follows the recent release of a film titled ‘Jhummandi Nadham’ produced by his daughter Lakshmi Prasanna even as the market was flooded with pirated CDs of the movie.

Tapsee injured

Heroine Tapsee who made her debut in Tollywood with 'Jhumandi Nadam' is now participating in shooting of Hero Vishnu film in Hyderabad. It is known that Heroine injured seriously in the shoot when a cricket ball hit her on the face. As per the reliable sources her face was injured and immediately rushed to the hospital.

Lakshmi Prasanna as Villain

K.Raghavendra Rao son Surya Prakash is making a film starring Siddartha and Shruthi Hassan in lead roles. Currently film unit is in discussions to title the film and thinking to title film as 'Once upon a tear drop'. Director is saying that this title will suit 100% for the story. Director is planning to keep a tag line understand by Telugu audience as film has English title. Lakshmi Prasanna is doing the villain role in the film.

Nagarjuna as Swamy Vivekananda

It is earlier reported that Victory Venkatesh is making his Telivision debut by acting in a daily serial 'Swamy Vivekananda' to be aired in Gemini Telivision and directed by Neelakanta. Now there is another interesting news is that Yuvasamrat Nagarjuna who proved himself as best actor with films like 'Annamaya' and 'Sriramadasu' is planning to team up with K.Raghavendra Rao for coming another film as well. This time the story is said to be based on historic characters and it could be 'Swamy Vivekananda'. As per the reports, Nagarjuna-KRR project is going to happen.

Veturi Sundara Rama Murthy Passed Away

Legendary Telugu film lyricist and national award winner Veturi Sundararama Murthy died of cardiac arrest. Born at Peda Kallepalli village in Krishna district on January 29, 1936, Veturi began his career as a journalist in Andhra Prabha and Andhra Patrika Telugu dailies. Legendary Telugu actor N T Rama Rao was the first to recognise Veturi's writing talent and introduced him to the film industry. Veturi's songs in films like 'Sankarabharanam' and 'Sagara Sangamam' by ace director K Viswanadh won him national acclaim. He won the National award for best song for 'Raalipoyye Puvva Neeku Raagalenduke' from 'Matrudevobhava'. He won eight Nandi awards, instituted by the state government, as best lyricist.
