Gollapudi Maruthi Rao is no more

Famous actor, writer Gollapudi Maruthi Rao (80 years) passed away on Dec 12th 2019. He is under treatment in Chennai and passed away today (Dec 12 2019) after noon.

Prior to movies, Gollapudi was stage artiste and story writer. He wrote and published many stories, short stories and novels.

Gollapudi lost his son (Gollapudi Srinivas) in 1993 while shooting Prema Pustakam movie. Later Gollapudi Maruthi Rao finished the remaining shooting.

He was appeared first time in "Intlo Ramayya Vidhilo Krishnayya" movie and later he performed various kind of roles as character artist, comedian and villain.

Hero Charan Reddy no more

Charan Reddy, husband of Akkineni’s grand-daughter Supriya, has been suffering from heart problem since some time. He attacked heart attack on Monday and was admitted to the Apollo Hospital, where he breathed his last. The postmortem report by Osmania Hospital forensic department, said that Charan died of liver failure due to alcoholism. He introduced in telugu film Ishtam and Shreya also introduced in that movie. Supriya has earlier acted with Pawan Kalyan in ‘Akkada Ammayi, Ikkada Abbayi’. The couple had developed differences and have been living separately. An year ago, Charan Reddy has applied for divorce from his wife Supriya.

Is SP Balu tamilian?

SP Balu hails from an authentic Telugu Brahmin family, there is something about his birth which has given rise to a speculation of sorts. Apparently, S P Balu was born in a place called Konetammapeta and in those days it was part of Madras presidency. So, in a way motherland is Tamil Nadu but he grew up in Nellore. With this, it is being reported that the Tamilians are speaking like they own SPB. one Tamil channel was giving a program on the eve of Balu’s birthday. It said "SP Balu is the singing icon of Tamilnadu, along with Tamil songs, he also rendered his voice in Telugu and that’s how the Telugu people know him"
