Kannada star Darshan has been arrested by the Vijayanagar police on a complaint filed by his wife Ms. Vijayalakshmi Darshan.
In her complaint, Vijayalaxmi alleged that the actor has been torturing her and their three-year-old child.
According to the Vijayanagar Police source, Darshan has confessed that he was drunk, when he attacked his wife. He has reportedly told the police, "I returned to home yesterday night after finishing shooting. I called up my wife, who was in her friend's house, and asked her to come home along with our baby. This bad incident happened when she refused to come."
Meanwhile, Darshan has added, "I visited her friend's house and requested her to come home with the baby. She was neither ready to come nor to send the baby. So I pushed her back in anger, when her head hit the wall leaving her unconscious. But I have not threatened her to kill with a revolver."
Darshan's wife Vijayalakshmi has been admitted to ICU at Gayathri Nursing Home in Vijayanagar, Bangalore. According to the doctors, she has suffered multiple injures on her body and she will be kept in the ICU for two days, but their son has not suffered any injuries and he is safe.
