Mohan Babu is felicitated with Chittoor Nagayya Award in Chennai. Speaking at this function, Mohan Babu declared all the present day heroines as zeroes with out knowing any basics of acting.

"All the awards including Nandi and Padma Sri can be purchased by using the money. Anajali Devi is great actress even though she never lobbied for any award. This Chittor Nagayya award is best award in my life" added Mohan Babu.

Hero Charan Reddy no more

Charan Reddy, husband of Akkineni’s grand-daughter Supriya, has been suffering from heart problem since some time. He attacked heart attack on Monday and was admitted to the Apollo Hospital, where he breathed his last. The postmortem report by Osmania Hospital forensic department, said that Charan died of liver failure due to alcoholism. He introduced in telugu film Ishtam and Shreya also introduced in that movie. Supriya has earlier acted with Pawan Kalyan in ‘Akkada Ammayi, Ikkada Abbayi’. The couple had developed differences and have been living separately. An year ago, Charan Reddy has applied for divorce from his wife Supriya.
