Rajnikanth in hospital

The 60-year-old was admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU) of St. Isabel Hospital Wednesday night.

He is suffering from allergic bronchitis and fever. The cause is exhaustion. He is advised rest for a couple of days. His condition is stable,says S.N. Sai Kishore, a doctor at St. Isabel Hospital.

Rajnikanth has been hospitalised for the second time in a week. Last Friday, he was admitted to the ICU of the hospital after a bout of vomiting and was discharged in the evening.

Hero Charan Reddy no more

Charan Reddy, husband of Akkineni’s grand-daughter Supriya, has been suffering from heart problem since some time. He attacked heart attack on Monday and was admitted to the Apollo Hospital, where he breathed his last. The postmortem report by Osmania Hospital forensic department, said that Charan died of liver failure due to alcoholism. He introduced in telugu film Ishtam and Shreya also introduced in that movie. Supriya has earlier acted with Pawan Kalyan in ‘Akkada Ammayi, Ikkada Abbayi’. The couple had developed differences and have been living separately. An year ago, Charan Reddy has applied for divorce from his wife Supriya.
