Another setback to the Telugu film industry, noted villain “Ankusam” Rami Reddy died of cancer in Hyderabad on Thursday.
Rami Reddy, who acted in more than 250 films as a villain and character actor, had been suffering from cancer and kidney related ailments. He breathed his last at around 11 am, almost unnoticed by the film industry.He shot into fame with his “spot pedatha” dialogue in the film Ankusam, starring Rajasekhar.
Rami Reddy was not seen in the film industry. When he appeared at the MAA elections a couple of months ago, everybody was shocked to see him. He looked pale and lanky, compared to his huge personality and sturdy physique and strong voice in his films. Only then people could realize that he was suffering from serious ailments.
