Priyamani in Bet
Bharat and Priyamani starrer Bet is finally hitting the screens. The movie will be released on the very first day of the new year (2011). The film also has Ramya Krishna in an important role .Directed by Suresh Krishna, the film is about a boy who bets his life on a dangerous game. Thondapu Nageshwara Rao is producing the film in Telugu. Srikanth Deva has scored the music.

Charan Reddy, husband of Akkineni’s grand-daughter Supriya, has been suffering from heart problem since some time. He attacked heart attack on Monday and was admitted to the Apollo Hospital, where he breathed his last. The postmortem report by Osmania Hospital forensic department, said that Charan died of liver failure due to alcoholism. He introduced in telugu film Ishtam and Shreya also introduced in that movie. SP Balu hails from an authentic Telugu Brahmin family, there is something about his birth which has given rise to a speculation of sorts. Apparently, S P Balu was born in a place called Konetammapeta and in those days it was part of Madras presidency. So, in a way motherland is Tamil Nadu but he grew up in Nellore. With this, it is being reported that the Tamilians are speaking like they own SPB. one Tamil channel was giving a program on the eve of Balu’s birthday. It said "SP Balu is the singing icon of Tamilnadu, along with Tamil songs, he also rendered his voice in Telugu and that’s how the Telugu people know him"
