1.5 crore for the Three Idiots re-make,making her the highest-paid actress in South.
Vijay will act in Tamil and Mahesh Babu will do Aamir Khan's role in Telugu. Reports also say Sathyaraj has been roped in to essay Boman Irani’s role. Other cast and crew are still being finalised.

Hero Charan Reddy no more

Charan Reddy, husband of Akkineni’s grand-daughter Supriya, has been suffering from heart problem since some time. He attacked heart attack on Monday and was admitted to the Apollo Hospital, where he breathed his last. The postmortem report by Osmania Hospital forensic department, said that Charan died of liver failure due to alcoholism. He introduced in telugu film Ishtam and Shreya also introduced in that movie. Supriya has earlier acted with Pawan Kalyan in ‘Akkada Ammayi, Ikkada Abbayi’. The couple had developed differences and have been living separately. An year ago, Charan Reddy has applied for divorce from his wife Supriya.
