Magadheera Names as Best Telugu Film

Magadheera' was on Wednesday named the best film in Telugu language at the 57th National Awards. The film also saw Kamal Kannan bagging the award for best special effects while Shiva Shankar Master bagged the National Award for Best Choreographer.
3 Idiots was declared the most popular film providing wholesome entertainment.
Shyam Benegal's 'Well Done Abba' bagged the best film on social issues while Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's 'Dilli-6' won the award for best film on national integration.

Hero Charan Reddy no more

Charan Reddy, husband of Akkineni’s grand-daughter Supriya, has been suffering from heart problem since some time. He attacked heart attack on Monday and was admitted to the Apollo Hospital, where he breathed his last. The postmortem report by Osmania Hospital forensic department, said that Charan died of liver failure due to alcoholism. He introduced in telugu film Ishtam and Shreya also introduced in that movie. Is SP Balu tamilian?

SP Balu hails from an authentic Telugu Brahmin family, there is something about his birth which has given rise to a speculation of sorts. Apparently, S P Balu was born in a place called Konetammapeta and in those days it was part of Madras presidency. So, in a way motherland is Tamil Nadu but he grew up in Nellore. With this, it is being reported that the Tamilians are speaking like they own SPB. one Tamil channel was giving a program on the eve of Balu’s birthday. It said "SP Balu is the singing icon of Tamilnadu, along with Tamil songs, he also rendered his voice in Telugu and that’s how the Telugu people know him"
