Genelia or Hasini any name she was popular now. Bommarillu got good fame and name for Genelia. Bommarillu now remaked in tamil and planning in hindi also. For tamil genelia is selected for the hasini role.
In Hindi Bony Kapoor takes the Bommarillu rights and started searching for the right candidare for Hasini Role. He cant get any one and finally he called Genelia. He offered i crore for Genelia to act in that movie. So Genelia is so lucky

Is SP Balu tamilian?

SP Balu hails from an authentic Telugu Brahmin family, there is something about his birth which has given rise to a speculation of sorts. Apparently, S P Balu was born in a place called Konetammapeta and in those days it was part of Madras presidency. So, in a way motherland is Tamil Nadu but he grew up in Nellore. With this, it is being reported that the Tamilians are speaking like they own SPB. one Tamil channel was giving a program on the eve of Balu’s birthday. It said "SP Balu is the singing icon of Tamilnadu, along with Tamil songs, he also rendered his voice in Telugu and that’s how the Telugu people know him"
